Katayoun began her online career in 2000 as the Marketing Director of LeadClick Media, a performance based advertising agency in San Francisco, CA. LeadClick was a category expert in Cost Per Acquisition (CPA) online advertising and an online Lead Generation company supporting many industry verticals in Auto, Debt, Credit, Home Services and others. Katayoun left LeadClick Media to join Naviant, a leading digital advertising and data company, in 2002 where she created and managed a Personal Finance Lead Generation department. Naviant was then purchased by Equifax (NYSE: EFX) where Katayoun remained in her position until 2003 at which time she decided to form her own performance based advertising agency, Brand Interactive Media based out of San Francisco, CA.
In 2008, Katayoun founded Mediazentric, an online agency with a wider focus which included the categories of beauty, fashion and entertainment. In 2011, Katayoun and her partners created and managed BroadBase Media, a boutique ad agency focused on the fashion and parenting verticals and SageTrack, a Software as a Service company with a focus on online affiliate tracking and optimization.
